People who are loud in quiet areas...

my uni campus lacks proper study space, since its not the main campus it is one of the smaller ones (yet the newest and nicest building by far
).... i usually resort to a particular corner which has some study booths and outlets set up in it. the only problem is there is an elevator behind me and it is at the end of a main walkway. It's not a dead end since the walkway kind of loops around like a canoe shape and in the middle is all open space where you can see upper floors and the main floor below. The background noise of the main floor below doesn't really bother me, and I usually work well in loud places.
Its just the inconsiderate jerks that KNOW this is a study space and still walk by incredibly loud, or stop and hang out right next to it and be really loud with their friends. Also the loud cell phone talkers... and don't forget the people playing music and being loud in the group study rooms behind me (which have doors for a reason). And what I really, really hate is when people play music or videos off their laptops right beside me. Last week some girl was blasting Coldplay, which wasn't as annoying as the guy last night playing Hindi music on his laptop to my left.
Like I said I'm usually not too bad working in a loud environment, so maybe its just the ignorance of these people that makes me frustrated. Invest in some fucking headphones, and go to the mezzanine if you want to hang out.
This goes for the bus ride too.

Worst. People. EVER.
I also hate people who walk in large groups, verrrry slowly, and don't leave space in the hallway for others to get around them.
I'm glad your class is over and all....that's great for you. But mine is about to start so you need to just get the fuck out of the way, or be quicker."The customer...is always...an ASSHOLE"

So true.
This morning I was stuck behind a group of ghetto guys, walking all slow and thuggily and not only was I almost late for a midterm because of them, I was also treated to a very interesting conversation...and I quote...
" I don't fuckin know why i failed that shit yo. I mean, seriously bro, I only got like, half of them wrong. I was pretty fuckin close with the answers. She should have just given them to me, fucking bitch. She knew what I meant. It's not my fuckin fault that I couldn't think straight...I was out all fuckin' night."
"Yeah bro, that fuckin sucks. I hate it when profs try to make it seem like you don't understand shit. They know what you mean, but they front like they don't. I bet she's racist."
These guys were white....there's one prof in my school who is Asian, but she teaches acting, thus no written exam.

You know what I hate the opposite as well.. people who are too quiet in loud zone areas!
I work on a trading floor on Wall Street and the worst thing is someone coming by your desk and talking low and you have to ask them to speak up like 400x freaking times. AHHHH!!!0 -

Very true. Why can't people just be aware of their surroundings? Is it really that hard?"The customer...is always...an ASSHOLE"

This goes for the bus ride too.I can't sit in my uni library without talking and joking with whatever friend I dragged along to make me study, and even when I'm wearing headphones, I play my music way too loud. I'm an ignorant fucker, basically.
Luckily for everyone, I tend to stay away from the library altogether these days.
