from hitting my first homerun on a majorleague sized field. i thought it was out. best hit of my life seems so disappointing. :o

    wow thats crazy!! once i hit a ball that it landed 15 feet before the wall at a major league sized field, felt awesome!

    Nice. I hit one off the top of the big wall at Jacobs Field (now Progressive) during high school. Great, yet really frustrating, feeling

    I played in a wood bat league out of high school and into college. Basically it was college guys who'd come together and play in the offseason.
    Anyways, I've hit 6 HR total in 3 seasons. 5 were from the right side, one was from the left (just inside the pole). I had a high average but never hit for much power. I was pretty freakin' awesome at 3rd though.
    Man, I miss those days!

    man I miss playing ball. I guess my best "highlight" was when I hit a shot over a 30 foot wall that was 275 feet away from home plate in 5th grade.

    couple years ago, my friend (through some guy at the park) was able to get us on the field at Dolphins Stadium (then Pro Player) and we could hit BP one day. I hit a shot to left that cleared the wall and it was JUST to the left of the "teal monster" a.k.a. the old-fashioned scoreboard. AWESOME feeling. I was also a lot bigger and stronger a couple years ago but hey what a memory.
