                    Hello everyone,
A good family friend has decided (well, her husband actually decided) that their fall family vacation this year will be Seattle. They have 2 young children (ages 2 and 4) and are looking for "family" stuff to visit/do.
I've only made the pilgrimage once and quite frankly am at a loss for suggestions. BTW, they are not into PJ, grunge, music, etc. They're also open to visiting Portland, Vancouver/Victoria, etc.
Thought I'd ask the experts on the board. Any suggestions, links, etc. is appreciated! TIA.

If they are near Seattle Center, they can still go and check out the Fun Forest that has all of the amusement rides and games. They do have a little kiddies area too. Not sure if the kids would like the Ride the Ducks tour, but that is available right near Seattle Center.I will not lose my Faith, it's an Inside job today....0

If they're going to Victoria - they can get boat and/or train rides from Seattle to Vancouver and/or Victoria. Check out Victoria Clipper for info. http://www.clippervacations.com

If they can....go to Northwest Trek.
Mount Rainier, my kids love the mountain, it's amazing! (Paradise or Sunrise, Paradise is open all year around....even in 14 feet of snow!)
Alki Beach is another favorite spot for families on sunny days, yeah, we get sun...but don't tell anyone.0

I was in Seattle the weekend of the Seafair... I LOVED Alki Beach!
When the sun is shining in your city... it's gorgeous. I haven't witnessed a rainy Seattle yet!0
