i tried bikrams in 2000 for the first time here in vancouver, i think it was the first one in canada i was going to. loved it back then...fell out of it, went sporatically. but now i go all the time, i spent 600$ on 100 classes i have 85 or so left....you feel amazing after it. it takes a lot of energy to perform the class, but somehow, you are so energized for hours after the class.

my only problem with bikrams is that it does take a long time to do. at least a two hour chunk of day for exercising and we all dont have that. but if you force yourself to go, the benefits are reallly great.

i love the philosophical side bikram teachers bring too.

my friend trained with bikram in 2002 and now owns his own studio.

My main goal is stress busting... I suffer from anxiety and don't sleep well, and I've been told it'll help with that.

hatha yoga is the way to go then
