Since new front brakes, an oil change, and a transmission repair for my truck will cost me $900, I decided to look around and see what else I could buy for that much. Here's what I found.
- A 1989 red Geo Spectrum hatchback with 90,000 miles on it
- A flight, hotel, and car for 4 days in Las Vegas from expedia.com
- 3 New Jersey Nets season tickets
- A 42" Insignia LCD TV from bestbuy.com
- The "Montreal" sofa & loveseat set from Bob's Discount Furniture
- 1 month's rent for a furnished 2-bedroom apartment in Weehawken, NJ
