PTI vs. ATH. Which is better?

Maybe some of you other layabouts have the opportunity to watch Pardon The Interruption and Around The Horn during the workday:p....

Which one do you prefer? At first, I would have said PTI in a heartbeat. But I'm liking ATH, more and more. Tony and Wilbon are getting a little old for me. I actually like PTI better when one of them are gone and replaced by LeBatard (BAM!) or Bob Ryan.

Best ATH panelists, in order...
Woody (lovable dunce)
Adande (funny dude)
Cowlishaw (love him for his love of hockey, NASCAR and the BCS :p)
Ryan (crusty old Irishman)
Mariotti (the guy I love to hate)
MacMullan
Plaschke

It wouldn't bother me if Kevin Blackistone never made another appearance :D.

I don't get to see Around the Horn because I don't have ESPN. We get PTI on TSN in Canada and I watch it every day that I can. I could watch Kornheiser and Wilbon argue all day every day.

it's a tough choice. I love watching Wilbon and Kornheiser go at it sometimes, but ATH is close. I like them both more than Rome Is Burning, I honestly CANT STAND Jim Rome. He's like Michael A. Smith, always angry. And Rome just tries to be the cool guy by trying to be witty about how he's gonna trash players or coaches. PTI for the win.

True, that. But sometimes, I laugh at Rome in spite of myself. His euphemisms for pot (hippie lettuce, tree, etc.) always make me smile. But, yeah, he does kinda seem like a jerk.

PTI in a landslide. The panelists they get for ATH are an absolute joke.

    Rome Is Burning is terrible.

As for PTI vs ATH...toss up for me. If I have time (which is rare) I like to catch both. PTI is great because they both love the show and love ripping each other apart. You can tell it is all in good fun. ATH is all about egos and quick wit without stumbling.

I like Tony Reali as Stat Boy on PTI better than the lead roll on ATH. He can be a little too rave-guy/slick for me every once in a while on ATH.

I want to know who comes up with Woody's blackboard quotes.

PTI by far. most of the journalists on ATH annoy the shit out of me and i disagree with a lot of what they say. mike and tony are a lot more knowledgable and less ridiculous and a lot better at what they do, in my opinion.

PTI is the one for me. As for Rome is Burning, I listen to the radio show for three hours every day (except when the fucking Cubs ruin it with a day game) and I don't like JRIB. The radio show is my favorite thing ever.

ATH has too many people and PTI is a lot funnier. Plus I'm not home by the time ATH starts haha.

PTI by a nose....by about two lengths when "BAM" Lebatard is guesting.

Thought there was a PTI only thread, but couldn't find it. Anyway....

Best of luck Stat Boy. I know he'll still do Around the Horn, but I'm a PTI guy.

Where's he going? Just don't with pti?

Haven't watched either of these shows in years. I always liked pti more

Kornheiser went to Binghamton university though.

I knew reali a little bit through mutual friends who went to Fordham. Hung out with him and some other guys from Syracuse/Fordham/espn a decent amount around 2005-2006 in dc, a year or so after he got around the horn. If there was one thing you needed to know, it was that he absolutely fucking despised being called stat boy. So needless to say, everyone would call him that the entire fucking night once we got drunk. He couldn't take it, it was hilarious. Pretty good guy though and he means well

He also thought he was the man because he had the stupid espn phone before anyone could get it, back when you couldn't really get scores/internet on phones. Dude loved that thing.

They are both terrible. Utterly terrible. The content (and overall credibility) on ESPN is garbage. Haven't watched that channel in 3 years.
