poor old Dad's birthday tomorrow

My poor Dad is turning 59 tomorrow. While it is a celebration, tomorrow also marks 20 years since his mother died, which is very sad. He often tells the story how he doesn't really celebrate his birthday, and the night his mother died, We all sang happy birthday to him, and he couldn't handle it bursting into tears.

I got him one of those belkin ipod things for his car. He just got an ipod and he loves it.

I'm so glad to be able to call my dad one of my best mates, and I love him to death.

    Happy Birthday to your dad. My dad's mom also died on his birthday two years ago and he hasn't celebrated since. Hope your dad has the best birthday he can!
