At work this girl sits across from me facing me at her desk, and everyday she picks her nose and eats her boogers. Then she cleans her finger nail with her teeth. I dont get it, she is a very good looking girl, 27, and every fucking day she does this while people are around and looking. Its like she thinks there is a wall around her and nobody can see?????? Sucks for the guy that kisses her when she gets home. I cant even look at her when she talks to me. Iv also got this friend and iv known him for 13 years and he has always put his hand down his pants "scratching" and then put his hand to his nose and smells it. And its like there is a wall around him and nobody can see, he's in the zone and once I said something while he was doing it and it was like he snaped right out of it and acted like it never happend. So im wondering if its just human nature to smell yourself like that and taste your boogers? Like a dog licking his balls?
                I'll be back

From your description of the second social offender, I would say that, at least in his case, these are anxiety generated behaviors. They are like mannerisms that are triggered by either social anxiety or stress. Like when a child rocks to comfort itself. These may have started in childhood and are so ingrained the people are almost completely unaware they are doing these actions.
One the other hand, some people are just piggy. Like the loud person sitting across from you who insists on speaking with a mouth full of food. Not only is it unsightly, crap is flying out all over the place.

that is a bit weird ...
perhaps put a note on her screen pointing out everyone notices.
either that, or wait till the staff xmas party, get pissed, and ask her if they come in different flavours

dogs are overrated... they use their tongue as toilet paper.
as far as humans, we all do "things" we wouldn't do in public, but come on.... eat your own snot?0 -
