The worst possible situation.

So my team advanced to the championship round in a best of 3 series. Game 1 is tonight, Game 2 is Wednesday, Game 3(IF NECESSARY) will be friday. Here's my problem. If the series goes to game 3 then i'm stuck between Pearl Jam or my team. I'm soooo torn between this. I want to sweep morethan ever right now.

    Tell your team to get on it and win it in a sweep, then you won't have to worry.

    If you go 5 for 7 with 2 HR's and 6 RBI's in the next 2 games that'll go along way to help. LOL

    Just clear it with your teammates... Pearl Jam is pretty important... but, so is the championship. Convince your teammates that they have no alternative than to sweep the sorry sonsovbitches.

    Definitely the game...........I am a huge fan or music and sports but the game is much more important. PJ will be around again and you have people relying on you.

    Damn tough call. That is of course if the game is relevant. Meaning, if this game is a high school, college, minor league game and your season is on the line then play the game.

    If it is some meaningless, adult league co-ed softball game then you rock the fuck out at the show.

    honestly, I played baseball in high school too on a pretty good team and I would give anything to go back and play one more game. I love the sport but watching it on TV is not the same as playing it and when your older (I'm only 24) you really miss the things you took for granted while in high school like perfectly organized sporting leagues. I play in a softball league but it's not the same. Man if I were you I would play in your game and pick up a bootleg of the show. There are no bootlegs of games you miss and trust me, 5-6 years from now you will look back and be happy you played win or lose. Take this as a guy that goes to the cages and plays catch all the time hoping to get a chance to play again.

    I agree... PJ are fantastic BUT this will have MUCH bigger repurcussions either way.

    Do not betray your team over a concert, especially for a championship game (unless you play in beerleague softball).

    If it is a legitimate sporting contest (i.e. everyone pratices in the league and are competative) then you must play. But if it's a league where you have to chug a beer after every single, then fuck the game and go see PJ.
