after watching the video, who is the one in trouble cos they both seem to be swinging that bat about and look quite happy sorting it out for themselves. I would have just filmed it on my phone for police evidence like the other person, i aint getting hit with a bat to help somebody i dont know, unless its a woman in danger and even then i dunno......

The big guy tried to walk away without paying. The little cab driver grabbed the bat to stop him, which he should have. I hate to see people who think they can walk around doing what ever they want

i would have done absolutely fuck all... no way am i getting hit on the face with a broom handle because some guy didnt cough up $8 for a cab.. fuck that.. one of them could have had a gun or anything.

if that makes me a coward then so be it, but any police officers who maybe post on here will tell you that you really shouldnt get involved in incidents like that... and if you hit the guy or something then you could be liable for assault charges.

as SuperVedder just said.. if it was a woman getting robbed or a guy hitting a young kid i'd step in and demolish them but some big fucker playing Kendo with Danny De vito in a Taxi... not my problem

The guy is 5ft nothing and on the ground getting kicked by a guy who is 6'4.
How could you not help him? I guess its just me but I could not just sit there and watch.

Hey, it was the cabbie's choice to whip out the bat. He could've just followed the guy and yelled for a cop.

No way I'd jump in the middle of that garbage and risk getting hurt. That doesn't make me a coward at all. If one of the fighters was defenseless, THEN I'd jump in if I thought he could be seriously injured. But until then, forget it.

Perhaps i'm a coward but this is not as black and white to me.

Maybe i'm walking by and i don't knwo what happened. Maybe i grab the guy and the guy on the ground has time to get a gun in his car or on him and decides in a rage to shoot the guy i'm holding and shoots me instead and i die.

I would like to just stop the fight but sometimes it seems it is not that easy.

Worse yet i end up throwing the guy around unintentially he lands on his head and dies. I'm getting sued by his mother or wife for unintentional manslaughter or some crap like that.

Any violence sickens me to the pit of my stomach.I would not have tried to break them up as I wouldnt want to become a victim of the brawl but I would have definately gone for help.It sickens me that so many people just walked on by.

They've passed laws recently about that. Good Samaritan Shield law, or something to that effect. Now if you give someone CPR and break a rib, the ingrate can't sue you.
