oh how I love theeeeee:D:D

just one bite brings a smile:) to my face and completes my day!
with a side of sour cream there's nothing better:)
oh how I love to make them fresh, but then my house smells like fried food for days and days later (much longer then the potato pancakes last;)).

I will now enjoy these frozen ones....not nearly as tasty as home made, but tasty enough to make me smile right now!

    i don't have the recipe memorized but it involves potatoes ;) onion, grated , and fried in a bit of oil. there's more to it but i can' remember at the moment.
    some eat em with applesauce (yuck if you ask me!) I eat them with sour cream! YUM:D

    god, i love tater pancakes! here's what i do: take leftover mashed potatoes, add eggs (usually just a couple) and a cup of flour. blend, then fry in a pan with a small amount of really hot oil. this is important, because if the oil isn't hot enough then it just soaks into the pancakes. feel free to get as creative with extras as you want. i usually add lots of garlic to the batter, or chopped bacon or ham. or some cheese. mmmm....

    they are not pancake consistency, more like a hash brown but BETTER....much much better!

    Well, being Hungarian, mom makes some kick ass spicy potato pancakes...with a little mayo is all you need..

    I'm making potato pancakes today... Of course with the help of some Czech friends and no need to say we'll use the traditionl Czech recipe...

    hannukah is just around the corner & i am SO ready for some good, home-cooked latkes!!! :D
    its sad, though, because the best latke-maker in the family will be away in israel for the holiday :(
    oh well, i guess my mom's not too bad at making them! i'll survive!

    but seriously guys- MMMMMMMMMMM!!!

    Yes, I love potato pancakes, too. Eating those twice a week is part of what made me get fat. I haven't had them in two years, now!

    diced onion
    flour
    egg
    salt & pepper
    It's pretty simple. I would eat mine with homemade applesauce and sour cream!
    I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.
