Am I the only person who doesn't text?

rarely, if i'm in a place that's too quiet or too loud then i will, but only if i'm needing to tell someone where i am or looking for somebody in a crowd. it was handy when i was going to the PJ shows otherwise i don't use it, i'm too slow

we see no point. the ONLY time i test is when on pj tours in europe b/c EVERYone texts, but i hate it. i far rather just call and be done with it. however, it is FAR cheaper to text than call in europe, so it makes sense. here....it's cheaper for us to just call each other, at least on our plan..and so that's what we do. i love voicemail.


my most preferred method of communication, outside of actually speaking to someone in person ....is email. i LOVE email. and yea..answering machines and voicemail.

i love to leave my message..i love getting messages. it means i don't actually have to carry on a convo with you. give me the info and move on. done! LOVE it! email is even better tho!

I exchanged numbers with an old friend at my daughters school function tonight...he had my # in his phone, and had it put away before I'd figured out how to enter his name....then I kept screwing it up...I'm far from a tech-idiot, but trying to type on a phone pad is the most aggravating thing in the world....and you look like an idiot 6 yr old playing a video game.

There really is something about it that bugs me.
...you look stupid, and I find it incredibly rude in social or work settings....if it's that important, go make the fucking call and come back. Ten 20-second interruptions kills way more time than a five minute phone call.

That's cheating. I like good ol' fashion texting. None of that predictive text crap either. Just regular texting...and I'm the fastest text in the West. :cool:
