oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

so say someone is a writer. dont matter what, short stories, novels, plays, songs, screenplays, whatever.

if you are a writer, and are writing a character who is just flat out a bad , bad person. i mean the worst. if you write the person with ease, does that make you creative, or also a bad and shitty person?

i'm having trouble with the fact that this character in the book im working on is the easiset character ive ever written. yet he by far would be the worst person alive if he were real.

not loving "knowing" this character so well. even if he is just a figment of my imagination. and the fact that the character is a figment of my imagination kinda makes me sick in ways.

    sorry, had to vent.
creative to an exxxtent. maybe you feel like that character deeeeeeeeeep down inside but would never be. therefore u "create" him.

No, it doesn't make you a shitty person, it just means that, like all good writers, you understand people and the way they work.

I agree with Senrock. This may be your way of dragging these thoughts and feelings up from the depths of your character and dealing with them in a relatively harmless way.

I've written from some real dangerous creep like perspective before. I call it my diary.

  • I've thought about trying to write a book and I believe I would draw parts of characters from the people I know. With that in mind, it would seem to me that you've known a few shitty people in your day...but, hell, you might be a little shitty yourself. Perhaps you can be creative and a little shitty in your own right along with being someone who has known some peckerheads. It all goes into good writing me thinks.

I've dreamed up characters before combining some of my own faults with the faults of some of my friends and come up with some big time assholes.
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
