A medium bit... like a Bhuna, as opposed to a Vindaloo.. Definitely not a Phaal.'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

I find that eating gets in the way of drinking and therefore beer, because I am blessed with a fast metabolism and therefore do not put on weight from drinking, is the perfect way to lose weight. Unfortunately I need to gain weight so it's a catch-22 situation.pjoasisrule wrote:Ive been dieting so not drinking too often but when I do, the worst beer can taste like the best beer."I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0 -
I am going to get so vindalooed tomorrow night. The club I am going to is £1 per drink. It's a shame that the music sucks and the clientele are the worst fucking people in the world. Small town night-life = disaster.harmless_little_f*** wrote:A medium bit... like a Bhuna, as opposed to a Vindaloo.. Well as long as smalltown nightlife = cheep beer you're good to go.
Ugh, 'good to go?' I've been hanging out on the board too much.'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

And I can get even more drunk tomorrow cause I don't need to worry about getting home. My friend's house is stumbling distance and if I can't even manage that, she can carry meurbanhippie wrote:Ahhhhh Hammersmith..... *nostalgia*....
I'm kidding. I'm going to drink a responsible amount."I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0 -
Random yet related question: 2 beers a day, or glasses of wine, or 4oz of hard stuff, is supposed to be good for the heart. Now, is this going to outweigh the liver ramifications?0

yes. the liver is one of the few organs than can heal itself. The heart needs all the help it can get. It is your duty to drink as much as possibleLostdogsinthegarden wrote:Random yet related question: 2 beers a day, or glasses of wine, or 4oz of hard stuff, is supposed to be good for the heart. this advice was brought to you by Dr Jamie's helpline. Steps are taken at your own risk. Neither Dr Jamie not his affiliates will be held responsible for liver failure."I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0 -
