:o nope! But that's the reason you don't often see it in shops or anything... cos it's a LOT of work for a small amount of milk... it's a delicacy in outer mongolia though.

Those all seem like rational, justifiable addictions! :)

French fancies are my faves too ... also love Pret a Mangers' banana cake and M&S' carrot cake :o

I've never tried french fancies, or jaffa cakes or angel slices... and now I want to.

I LOVE Pret a Manger's carrot cake, I think I may be addicted to that.
    And diet coke.

    Other addictions
buying CDS... I swear I have no more space for them, but I can't stop :o
    music
    red meat! (almost any kind)
    daydreaming and internet as well...

And VV, I hate answering the phone too (or picking up messages)
y la banda de Guille... cuando toca?
  • Ok, has anyone else got an addiction that other people would see as completely ridiculous but you just can't help yourself?

    I do...

    Cake.

I'm not joking. I realised it at the weekend. I can take or leave things like chocolate but present me with ANY kind of cake and I don't just want it, I NEED it... Chocolate cake, carrot cake, victoria sponge... hell, even Jaffa Cakes tide me over til I can get my hands on something a little more substancial. I think it's the sugar and texture of sponge that i'm addicted to, I don't even need to have frosting/cream/custard etc with it, I will eat dry cake...

    should I be worried?

I was like that when I was pregnant. It was something to do with the carbohydrates in it.

Erm, that's my two cents. I'm glad I added a good contibution to this one.

  • Some of us should start up a Jaffa Cake appretiation society. I'm not sure exactly what use it would be... other than... meeting other people that likes Jaffa Cakes... and maybe reading the ingredients... :o

Sorry, I haven't read the whole thread because there's only so much you can read about cake. :) But it's basicly sponge with orange jelly and chocolate over the top. There's something about them though... :D
