They're good for eating other bugs and such at a barn, in my basement, etc. I'm all for catch and release if they're in my house. If one crawls on me? all bets are off and I'll scream like a 10yr old girl.believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

My son was bitten by a Huntsman last year on the thumb. I asked him how it happened and he said he was trying to squash it with his thumb. Nice to see he's got his mothers quick thinking
A spider fell on my face when I was in bed one night.
We have awful spiders in Australia.
There is a Red-back behind my dryer and im too scared to go near it, plus it has an egg sack

As to your average 8 legged arachnid, I have no problem with as long as they play by the rules.
I'm pretty proud of myself now that I don't feel the need to destroy each and every one with a nuclear device every time I see one. They get to live here as long as they stay in the designated areas.NOPE!!!

Well I don't know about killing them, but an island somewhere a long way away from any children for the term of their natural life is fine by me.NOPE!!!

We have a Golden Orb Spider that arrives in the garden every Summer and makes the most amazing web, so huge and intricate. And then it sits there every night to feed. It's really quite something to watch.
AND it plays by the rules and NEVER comes into the house.
We've had some quite nice conversations.
NOPE!!!
