holiday mode

i think i'm already in it. my boss is gone most this week so i have the place virtually all to myself, and it's warm in my office and it's making me sleepy and i can't wait for thanksgiving so i can eat and be sleepy again.

i'm basically equating holidays = passing the fuck out lol

    i am in total holiday mode! :)


    i *just* finished my xmas shopping saturday, i ordered my cards and i am ready to GO!


    finalized our restuarant plans for thanksgiving today and i am PSYCHED!


    my birthday is my 'unoffical' kick-off to the holiday season, and then i am geared up! so this weekend, it BEGINS! :D


    also, nowadays it helps that with my current employment the holiday season is our slooooowwww, down-time. my other careers, education and retail, holiday seasons were busy, busy! i DO love the bustle of the holidays, but mostly just to ENJOY. hubby and i took the week after thanksgiving off, so really great kick-off.....some relax time, bop around the city, maybe a home project and then, GET OUR TREE! house will be fully decorated inside and out by the 6th and full-out holiday season in my mind!

    well i feel like a snail on valium i haven't even *started* my xmas shopping yet! :eek: oops haha i'm gonna send my cards out next week during the thanksgiving break....that was an easy deal, since i made them myself lol

    you got a great holiday lineup planned for sure, no better way to kick it off than with a bday for sure! :)

    it's still busy here but at least with my boss gone i can knock out a few projects without interruptions, so it's still quiet. hence why i'm goofing off in here at the same time :p haha

    haha hell yeah, i'm ready to get the gobble on! we get next thursday and friday off, the thought of a 4-day weekend is sounding GLORIOUS to me!

    Funny ths thead is started, I'm on Amazon right now buying like a freak .. it's so great to send things back home to Mass so I don't have to carry it from Cali. Show up on Dec 23 and wrap it all up.

    Got my girl tons of goodies ... I love Christmas. (we haven't even got past Thanksgiving ... where me and my lady are going back to be with my parents ... oh my).

    yeah i'm SO gonna be hitting up amazon and etsy this season for gifts! online shopping is where it's at. i can't stand malls any other time of year, but especially during the holidays. ew lol

    I am counting down the days until I am home for Christmas :D I can't wait. I have some gifts bought and I am going to decorate my desk soon. I put out a fun little red plate with Hershey Kisses on it to get me started. Although I had two different people say "oh no thank you. Kisses are the worst chocolate ever" :rolleyes: . A simple "no thank you" would have sufficed :p

    thanksgiving thru the new year is AWESOME!
    3 - 4 day weekends....and the first one i turned into an 11 day vacation....bllllliiissssssssssss........


    so basically, 2.5 weeks of work from 11.26 - 01.05....which basically equates to jack-shite productivity work-wise. :cool:

    anybody that would diss a hershey's kiss needs to be drop kicked. the nerve! and hell it's free chocolate, how can anybody hate on free chocolate?? :mad:

    liz mode or mood, either works! i'm just more in the mode/mood cuz i don't feel like working haha
