I just watched Indiana Jones and the last crusade last night and really started to get pumped for Indy 4! These movies are timeless and I dont care about Mr. Fords age... it will still be cool. I think they should make a new trilogy of older Indy... hey... you never know when George Lucas is apart of the production!
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

yeah I dunno...I think they need to use another actor now.

Filming begins this summer. Ford had better be working out extra hard to be getting into shape! He's been looking kind of old lately, but I think hitting the gym could take years off his actual age.

Give ford a chance... if the next one sucks then make a new one with a younger actor. We have to remember that the greatest director of all time is helming this project. I have faith it will be great. They have waited 19 years to make the next one it better be!!!!!!

Indiana Jones is supposed to be a James Bond thing. A Saturday morning serial. I wouldn't mind seeing more movies with different actors. Nothing will ever top the originals, but things could come close.

Yeah, I suggested this too, in another Indiana Jones thread. Keep it going, like James Bond.....

I would still rather see a Indiana Jones movie directed by Spielberg and story by Lucas and starring Harrison Ford then a new Indiana Jones movie directed by bryan singer, story by paul haggis and starring Ashton Kutcher!

    here fucking here.

Harrison Ford with Cate Blanchett and HOPEFULLY Sean Connery to go along with Lucas and Spielberg? Thats something I see on opening night.

Anyone else, and its a netflix pickup.

Anyways, who was "Young Indiana"? Wasn't that a TV show? Sean Patrick Flannery right? And River Phoenix played him in Last Crusade obviously. But still, Harrison Ford is Indiana for me, and vice versa.

Just hope that Lucas doesn't 'Phantom Menace' this series with the new movie.

Not with Spielberg on board! Star Wars is all George... Indiana Jones is George and Steven Spielberg. He cant pull a Jar Jar on this film... although... i hear Steven Spielberg loves that Even Stevens kid and wants him to play Indy jr. YUCK!!!!! Let's hope not!

Oh god no.......I hope it's not cute and cuddly and suitable for children ages 4 and up......that would be embarrassing!! Let's hope it's more along the lines of revenge of the sith...they should chop Indy's legs off at the end!!

Haha. I do admit I enjoyed the last installment of the prequel trilogy, but the first one SUCKED. Clones was bearable. Sith was pretty good and had a lot of 'nostalgia' moments. Still, I don't want nostalgia or cheese in a new Indy movie. Either leave the legacy be or really make it a worthy installment. I don't want to see it made for the sake of the franchise bottom line or Lucas' ego, a la the Star Wars prequels.

As far as the prequels go, I enjoyed them, but I think Lucas should have just made one 3 hr long movie about the rise and fall of Aniken. The first hour, him growing up and loosing his mother, the second hour his rise to a Jedi, and the third hour his seduction to the darkside.

I don't know, the third movie was paced pretty good. I say half hour on his youth and recruitment, 1 hour on his training and the Clone Wars and 1 1/2 to 2 hours on the aftermath and fall to the dark side. The aftermath of the Clone Wars and Anakin's/Obi's relationship fallout is where the story is at. I don't mind it being a trilogy to tell the whole story, but I think it was just written poorly. WTF was the need for Jar Jar? The acting in the first and most of the 2nd sucked. Where was the comedy element of the originals??? I think better script writing and casting could have made it a lot better IMO.

No Harrison Ford, no comedy. Bottom line.

Ugh. Worst character in any movie, ever. The only retribution would have been a Vader beheading of Jar Jar.
