Ah well. It really is a rare treat. I treat my liquor cabinet to a bottle every couple of years.

I used to work for a liquorstore and when the packaging got damaged in shipping, we couldn't sell the product so we were free to take it home then because it couldn't be sold.

No one else wanted the JW Blue but me so i ended up with like 6 bottles last christmas!

I could tell ya...but it doesn't matter anymore. I gave it all except for one bottle away with christmas gifts. :)

But you could still pop over for some holiday cheer, i spose!

haha, yes. Then i got pregnant and pissy that i can't drink it anyway.
  • I actually prefer JW green label over blue or gold. It still suprises mw JW doesn't make a single malt. If you like JW black, give Dewars 12 year a try...very good.

I don't think I can touch Johnnie again after I drank a bottle of Red in a couple of hours on top of 4 pints and had a 48 hour hangover.

Dunk! Hurry! Jeremy is sounding like an Englishman again! Never let alcohol smell your fear, regardless of how well founded and rationale it might be.

Don't worry, I've just moved on to other whiskeys, I'm particularly fond of Jamesons and Glenfiddich. I'm not scared of alcohol, I just associate the taste of Johnnie Walker Red with violent illness now.

Ok then. There was a time when tequila and I parted ways for a brief period, but we eventually put our differences aside and got the band back together.

Tequila is also on my blacklist.

It is unlikely to ever come off it. The drunkest, dumbest and most unpleasant I have ever been in my life was after drinking too much Tequila while in the blackest mood of my life :o

    Never again.

    Never again.

I'm usually a very happy drunk, but tequila does make me a little feisty. Never say never, my young friend.

Can't wait to go home to nice warm Arizona!

I enjoy Johnny Walker Black but I'm a bit too cheap to buy a bottle. I usually buy Jack Daniel's to mix with Coke. As for my blacklist, Jagermeister is the only entry in the book. Ruined my bachelor party a few years back...

I'll drink anything but Jager. That stuff is pure evil!
