why do simmers/divers shower

right when they get outta the water? I am at a loss here. I obviously am ignorant on the subject (not to mention hammered).

    It helps keep their muscles loose. When they get out of the pool it's going to be cold so they'll take a hot shower or get in the hot tub to keep loose :)
