  have to be honest...
  
  in the beginning i felt bad and understood why those in the south were so upset about not getting show.
  this thread, though...everytime i see it bump up to the top i can't help but thinking, 'ugh. fuck the south. no wonder they don't play there.'

  Oh i would love to see them at the orange peel. It would be impossilble to get tickets.
  
  They should just rock the tabernacle in atlanta at least it holds a few more folks and is an equally great venue.

  Been about 3 years and haven't been able to go to a show. Is there any prospects for a 2008 tour of the South or something???

  I'm really sorry, Julie. I remember when you were posting before the last tour... we were all so optimistic that you would see your first show.. we never thought we would be hung out to dry like this.
  
  It is a hard decision to renew - I thought about it. But in the end, even though I have a shitty number and get just as good seats with ticketmaster, I decided it was about the music... and membership did allow me a perk or two.

  Well i thought seeing cornell would hold me over, which it was amazing (he put on a hell of a show, soundgarden style, great backing band, see him if he comes down our way!) , but there is still that little hole in muh heart.

  Its really shitty for you to have to pay that kind of money, when they wont even play your parts but soon enough im sure ull be able to cash in on the ten club perks. I would hang in there with it (also, so you dont lose your number) But i think you have more than enough right to send them an email(or letter) telling them how you feel. It sad to treat it this way, but all in all, your a customer.

  Eddie will be interviewed on WGN this afternoon after he sings 'Take me out to the ballgame'. I just sent an email to the wGN tv announcers asking them to ask Ed why they have not played the south in four years. If anyone wants to email the announcers its -- lenandbob@wgntv.com --. maybe if they get enough emails they will actually ask Ed.

  The news of the night is that Ed is coming out with a solo album in the fall and will be touring in support. It seems that Pearl Jam is not even working on one as a band. Starting to wonder if I didn't just see the last PJ show.
