How did the craptacular Houston Astros beat you guys TWICE this past weekend against two of your top starters????

seriously...you got outplayed...Beckett looked pissed last night in his hometown of Houston as his game just got away from him.

    Im not trying to knock the Sox...but besides Pedroia and Lowell Im suprised they were even in the gmes at all. ManRam wasnt much of a factor aside from his homerun and youkliis seemed out of it too

    Why was Pedroia jawing with the closer yesterday after he struck out?

    I dont think he was jawing with the pitcher....our catcher jumped up after he struck out and pumped his fist...and he turned and said something to him. I was at the game....so I have no idea if that was the case...but thats what it appeared from where I was sitting behind the Astros dugout.

    He(Pedroia) was sick all weekend...I cant believe he was ripping the ball as good as he was....7 straight at bats where he reached base. So I can see why the pitcher and catcher were excited about him striking out

    Holy shit... This has almost no relevance to the topic but it's important. I just came out of bed to listen to a couple of songs and I put on Loretta's Scars by Pavement and for some weird reason decided to come into this thread. I've only read the name Loretta from the title of the song. The universe is a small place.

    Congratulations. I actually kinda like Houston. Don't make me dislike them. Put up or shut up is 162 games. Come play with the Bad boys in the real league in the toughest division and brag.

    let's see how it all shakes out. Good wins though, good luck for the rest of the year.

    what? you are going to dislike a team because someone is happy about his team beating yours?(especially after the talk in here about people hating Boston cause of their fans!)


    Look...Ill be the first to say Houston is LACKING in several areas.Im a hometown boy...so Ill root for em anytime I can. Im AMAZED they won the Tampa and Boston series, and got shell shocked by the Yankees of all people! If Houston can get their head out of their asses and get some real pitching, they can be a great team. the nucleus is there.Berkman,Pence,Tejada,Lee?? thats a killer middle of the lineup. Sadly they lack starting pitching.Which they squandered to get Shawn Chacon when they could have gotten someone way better

    You're right. When i'm at Fenway i have been known to cry. With pride. It's hard not to feel proud sitting in Fenway. What a beautiful park to watch your team in. It's special. Nothing like it.

    There's been joy, heartbreak, tears, great players, and more ups and downs and ins and outs probably than any other Major League franchise, but you have to take the good with the bad. I love my team. Winners or losers.

    FFS I meant that being cocky is a good way for ME to dislike a team. I don't speak for all fans. Yes, I will admit I will be cocky with Yankees fans, but that's because we dislike each other and it's in fun. jeez. take a pill.

    Since the inception of the World Series in 1903, 105 years ago the Red Sox have won more World Series than all but two teams. Hint it is more than two.
