A fox at my work...

I have this giant window facing a beautiful courtyard and just a second ago I looked up from my computer and bam! There is a cute fox, no more than a few feet from my window just staring at me. Stupified, I just sat there and watched her with a big ol' smile on my face. When she realized I wasn't going to come out and feed her, she took off. Cutest little black socks and red bushy tail.
It was a literal fox, people. C'mon, get your minds out of the gutter!

I was woken up the other night to three of them wrestling on my porch. Well, two were wrestling and one appeared to be watching.0

Yeah, I do remember that and fox are totally cool. I've actually seen this one before but it was outside of the work compound. The courtyard where I saw her yesterday is totally walled in to keep dementia patients from escaping. I work in administration at a veterans home that is tucked up against the Boise foothills, which is basically the doorsteps to our side of the rocky mountains. So, seeing wildlife around here isn't uncommon but I'm still wondering how she got into the courtyard. They are very clever though. And I love that smug smirk thay always seem to have on their face, like they know something really funny and you're wondering what the joke is...Idaho's Premier Outdoor Writer

I saw one running down the walking path outside my office window one day. Another time, one of them ran right in front of a car I was riding in at night. I asked the driver if she saw the fox and she said she didn't. I made sure my seat belt was on tight after that. The only people we should try to get even with...

I caught some of mine on the roof of the shed a few times and saw them walking on the fence (over 2 metres high..7 feet I guess that is)..the buggers can jump and have nimble feet! and they can squeeze in small holes too.eyedclaar wrote:Yeah, I do remember that and fox are totally cool. One of my friends totaled his car hitting a bear! Ouch!
But we grew up in the Adirondacks so it wasn't unusual to see bears. But still, it did some damage. And the bear loped away!
In the spring time I used to watch otters sun themselves on the ice in the mornings, that was really neat."Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. "
