What's the story behind this picture? (of Ed)

Hi there. First time poster here. I was going to think of something intelligent or profound--or else even introductory--as a first post, but then I found a picture I was curious about and those plans were scrapped.

So who knows the story behind this photo?

For anyone who can't see the link or is too lazy to click it (a lot of effort, I know), it's Eddie at a live show with his arm being raised by a man in a mask who appears to be a wrestler.

Somehow I doubt they fought and Eddie was crowned the victor, so what's the story?

    I have no idea. I think it's from one of the Mexico shows in.... 2003 was it?

    My guess would be that it may have been someone introducing the band. But it is a guess and based on absolutely nothing.

    Maybe someone who was at the show will post a reply. Probably not though, since no one in Mexico owns a computer...

    No not a 2003 show. Remember that was short hair eddie days. at least 2004 onwards.

    Actually its a mask of El Santo, the famous Mexico wrestler legend, In 2003 in Mexico, Eddie had the mask on during bushleaguer and kicked Bush Mask's ass. Then in 2005 this guy out of nowhere came to raise eddie in the air and eddie said "Help us from george w bush"!!! Funny concert.
