Okay, so this board has been SUCH a drag lately. I know, I know, we all have issues. Hey, things in my life aren't perfect! But I'm tired of dwelling, tired of going around in circles, and I want to liven this mofo up!

Post something GOOD about yourself. Don't post something negative.. something complaining, something sad...

SHARE SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF THAT YOU'RE PROUD OF, HAPPY WITH, ETC!

    I'll start!!

    I started volunteering at a beautiful progressive animal shelter here in Chicago and I work with families to place cats with them that will be a perfect match..

    I matched up a beautiful cat with an adorable couple last weekend and they were super excited and they made me feel so great about myself...

    It put the biggest smile on my face for the rest of the weekend!

    I moved across the country in October.. and while not always a bed of roses I have finally realized it is a good thing. .... I still miss the ocean though :o

    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    One bottle of slightly polluted Atlantic Ocean is just a five minute stop at Canada Post if you're hard up ;)

    Here's something adorable that just happened:

    Annabelle was just noticing her shadow on the floor next to the window, and I said "that's your shadow." So she waved to it and said "Hello, shadow!" and then bent down and kissed it and said "I love you!" :D

    Hard to be in a funk when you witnessed something like that... :)

    I looked at pics of PEI last night from the newspaper web site and reminded how beautiful PEI really is.
