Yeah its bullshit, its like they dont want your business.
I hate banks....
S.
btw: have heard a few more things - the concert looks to be 99% confirmed
Cheers

Yeah, if it takes that long to process a card, I ownder what the service will be like.
Oh, and it's a good thing then that now I'm a 10C member.
A small girl smiles...one eyelid flickers, she whips a pistol from her knickers. She aims it at the preacher's head. And run (run, bang) she shoots him dead.
Everyone is so fucking hush about things - a lot of "dont repeat this" etc etc etc
Here is wat I know to summarise
1) Pearl Jam always intended to play here
2) They booked the vector arena around November 1/2/3 (no i am not saying three shows, I am just not sure of the exact date)
3) There were completion issues with the arena, due to both construction delays and commercial disputes
4) this meant that Pearl Jam could not announce the tour at the same time as the Australian dates
5) It now appears these delays MAY be getting resolved (and I do work in the construction industry, I cant go into too many details in a public forum about commercial matters, but I have two sources involved in the vector arena), and a late august early Sept completion date is realistic - if we keep our power on
6) Becase the arena is ready, I have learned (and I trust this source) that PJ have confirmed hotel arrangements for Auckland in the last month or so
Thats the solid stuff I know. There are whispers going around that publicity etc is getting ready to move to promote the concert, but I have nothing concrete on that
All I am trying to do is pass on all I know as quickly as I can, if people dont want to believe me then thats fine, but I want to share this with other people who share my passion for this band
Hey people. Got back from my gig at work party. Wasn't the best. I screwed up a couple time but nothing serious. Had to drop a couple of songs. Casue you know what drunken work mates are like. I was kinda getting a bit pissed off with thier fucking comment. Ya just gotta give some shit back. But I'm the one up on the stage so they could cut me a little slack. Anyway some people liked it. Said it was great. I think my voice was spot on. My guitar playing could have been better.
On another topic. If we are indeed getting a show (or two). We gotta have some sorta meet for the Ten Clubbers here. I'd love to meet up with all of you and talk about Pearl Jam and just discuss life in general.

Sounds great man. Love your info. And I have the biggest fucking passion in the lower north island for pearl jam.
Im happy in the knowledge im the biggest fan in East Auckland aged 22 who lives on my road, no doubt bout that.
I havent seen Life Wasted on c4/juice (I dont watch em much due to the shit they play, I saw WWS tonight though) and gutted I missed the singles the Rock were giving out. They need to get Life Wasted on the radio asap, no point giving away the singles and not have it playing. It'll be even more popular than WWS I reckon, everyone who ive listened to it with loves it.
Its been 8 years, but I still believe...PJ in NZ 06!
"No matter how cold the winter, theres a springtime ahead'
lets not start conflict over who has the Pearl Jam title in their part of NZ, but hug trees instead...... ok no, dont go around doing that.... but still, sit back and rejoice in the knowledge that we'll all be in the first or second row..... and we're all friends..... but i can still drink you all under the table.

I saw that last night as well, but did you know that they played life wasted 20 minutes before that, its on C4 all the time, alot more than WWS was on

That does suck a whole lot...ill keep my eye on it anyway.
And as for being drunk under the table, everyone and his dog has done that to me so I call no contest. Are we all certain on who'd we give our second ten club seat to in Auckland? Coz I wouldnt have a clue.

Does anyone know if i can buy some ten club seats and gifted them to my brother as i wont be here for concert or does the ten club member have to pick up the tickets in person?

10c member who bought the tickets has to show picture ID to pick up the tickets.

i'll take the west coast of the north island then..... so its really not a competition....
but i can still kick some arse, just so you know.....
