I thought the minimum amount for a single person w/o children was $600. Apparently I'm only supposed to receive $300 this week.

    No, if you didn't actually pay anything in, you only get $300. Make sense? I am horrible at explaining this stuff.
    If you get everything back you paid in, you only get the $300.

    Depends on how and when you filed.
    If you filed thru TurboTax or some place like that and had them take the fees out of your refund, you will get a paper check.

    i had hr block have the irs direct deposit it and i paid hr block with my credit card.

    There is a list of dates showing exactly when your checks will be mailed or direct deposited on the site based on your last 2 numbers. Some people won't have theirs mailed until the middle of July.

    I already got mine. It was a nice treat when I looked at my balance online and saw an additional $600!

    Were getting 2300$ & change.I knew not having cable would pay off some day.

    :D I have directv and I still have 8 kids! Guess there is never anything on.
    I am putting my $$ to good use and paying for my hotel and airfare to the PJ show.
