Originally my choice was between him, or the VH1 show as that Saturday night would be my only free night to see him with his schedule here.
But now I'm missing both. :(
However have fun, dude 3 times! That's pretty awesome.0 -

Seriously? Have you seen The Office? The original one, I mean?'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

I'm jealous! I love that guy! Have a great time and your girlfriend sounds like a keeper, to do 3 shows!"Please help me to help you, help yourself." EV0

Or extras? That one was pretty popular here in the US, moreso than the original office I believe.0 -

Orig, we were seeing him Saturday, but then Supergrass came up, so I got us tix for Friday. Then the VH1 gig was announced, so Supergrass was 86'd.0 -

Supergrass? Really?
Man I just never could get into them. I've sat through a bunch of their sets too back in the day when I would go see Paloalto all the time and Supergrass would headline their shows. They just never did it for me.
I think you made the right choice on x'ing them out of the picture though.0 -

If you saw the anniversary concert of Diana's death at Wembley, you would've seen him making a total idiot of himself.'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

Supergrass was more for the girlfriend. I have seen them, and it does get boring. I loved PaloAlto...I am surprised they never made it big0 -

Yeah same here. I really thought they'd be going somewhere. The local fans at all the shows were a great bunch too and the band was always great about talking to everyone.
I know James still plays shows locally, I see him pop up at the Viper Room every now and again, he's still great, but not the same without the band behind him.StateOfLoveBoatCptn. wrote:still nothing
Hmm...he was Dr. McPhee I believe in Night at the Museum. That's probably the last...best attempt I've got.0 -

He was also in Stardust.'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

This reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Bart/Lisa are playing a "christian" board game with Flanders and his sons. Ned asks Bart a biblical trivia question, and he has to shout a bunch of clues at Bart. Bart still doesn't know the answer, so he just guesses "Jesus".
It is sad that I can reference a Simpson's episode to most real-life occurances!0 -
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0
