    I didn't. But I've been overstimulated.

My wife and I used Turbo Tax, DID DIRECT DEPOSIT,and we received this email on May 19th.
WE THOUGHT we would have ours by now...obviously not.
It came down to how the fees were deducted.

    ********************************************************************************************************************

    Dear Valued Customer,

We want to provide you with the most up–to–date information about the tax rebate to which you may be entitled.

Recently, you may have received a letter from the IRS advising you when to expect your Economic Stimulus Payment (rebate). That IRS letter may have inadvertently left off some important information. Taxpayers who chose to have their tax preparation fees deducted from their federal tax refund will receive their tax rebate in the mail, not via direct deposit.

Our records show that you chose this payment option in TurboTax. As a result, the IRS has determined that you will receive your tax rebate in the mail. This may result in you receiving your rebate on a date later than expected.

This situation, while not unique to TurboTax, is understandably causing some concern and confusion. To help further clarify the situation, below is the most current IRS rebate payment processing schedule, as well as additional resources about the tax rebates.

I hope you find this information helpful. If you still have questions, the best source for the most up-to-date information is http://www.irs.gov (see the "Rebate Payment Questions" link).

    Sincerely,
    Bob Meighan

I did my return online using a no fee service and chose direct deposit. However, I've not yet received it so I have a feeling I somehow got lumped into the group receiving a check. So, that means mid July for me. :(

I knew mine is supposed to come this week. So last night I get home and there is an envelope from the IRS saying "Your stimulus check." I thought SWEET! I need to go run some errands and can deposit it. Well it was a frickin letter! Just to let me KNOW that it was on coming this week! Duh! I knew that already! Don't send me a letter just give me the check! Sheesh, the government is even more of a tease than I am

    Yes.

I ride the train with a bunch of people who work at the IRS. It's a mess. I heard them complaining about it yesterday. I also heard mention of a second stimulus check possibly on the way.

How does this 'Stimulate The Economy'?

Maybe, they should have just lopped off 300 or 600 from our tax bill.
