    been listening to Into the Wild cd which is really good....however, it does get a little (dare I say) boring after a while... lacks the depth of Pearl Jam... However, I WOULD go see him if he did a solo show in the South... :D

    I think it will probably play better as a soundtrack to the visuals of the movie than as an album. It's so short! It's over too quick. I too am holding out hope as unrealistic as it might be that he (actually typed they the first time) plays a small building gig somewhere near our neighborhood.

    My husband brought me a present - the book, "Into the Wild". Nice.

    Just came back from the beach - saw dolphins, a bat, found a sea bean and a coconut and saw a HUGE gator crossing the road. I love sunset.

    Listened to Wild LOUD all the way out and back. It is good. Made me miss Pearl Jam live shows. I am so ready for a show, any show.

    Cool beans...:D Have not purchased the album yet.....got $10 in credit @ Best Buy.....really want to Corin Tucker's voice more than I want to hear Mr. Vedder's. :)

    Mmmmm, but it IS good. and I miss the band ... I even caved and watched Oprah for the first time EVER... and no Ed. I was just chasing a rumor....I am weak...sigh.

    I haven't bought the CD, either, but I am getting the DVD: THAT is caving, but whatever. A fix is a fix, right? Even when you're pissed!

    Never watched Oprah......! I like Oprah but like I say, I don't often get to watch her show so I can't say if it's still as entertaining as I used to think.....

    Nope... it was my first time. Actually, yesterday's show was nothing more than two Hollywoods stroking each other. I was not impressed. And I never read "Oprah" recommended books. Don't really know why, am probably missing out on some good things, but because she is so mainstream I have avoided her. Figured I could just do without her. Like extended cable TV, movie channels, blackberries ... I have chosen to avoid.

    And yes, a fix is a fix...sigh.

    A lot of talk on the board lately about passion and feeling towards the band going in different directions.

    I must say i started losing that passion for the band a little when i found out they don't want to play the area where i live after touring it on every tour for 13 years.

    I mean the music i think is still good. Probalby not as good as it was but i got really excited about Avacado. Espcially hearing some of these songs live. Then all of a sudden they just dont' come down here.

    I went in 2000, 2003, and 2004 and at each show i took people who used to be big fans but maybe had not paid as much attention lately and every one of them after the show had rekindled their love for the band.

    I just wanted to rant a little that is all.

    a brad tour would kick ass

    not much sleep from all of the storms/tornados blowing thru here last night, so hope that explains this post ;)
