a really gross/horrific/nasty picture of a bad wreck. The title of the email is "why you shouldn't drive while texting"...I will not post it because I deleted it and plus I wouldn't do that to you people, but what I want to know is why on earth would someone take pictures of that terrible scene??

For the exact reason that you received it. To warn people not to do stupid things when driving. Photos are often taken at such scenes for government warning schemes."I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0

What he said. I don't know about other countries but we always get adverts like that inbetween our programmes here. It's supposed to be disturbing.

You get ads of actual wrecks and people being scraped off the road? That is pretty graphic...And so the lion fell in love with the lamb...,"

Yes, but there are apparently some much stronger photos circulating on the Internet, than the image of the average bloody foot sticking out of a squashed motor that we get in government ads. I was hearing about this on a radio 'phone in. We're talking very graphic images of multiple injuries here. I won't go into any detail as to what was depicted, according to what was said on this program, but it was not pleasant.0 -

Not being scraped off the road but there was one recently of some kids messing about with their mobiles while one was hit by a car. Most are acted but I'm not sure about that one.0 -

That one was acted. They just filmed it on a mobile so it would look real and, subsequently, more shocking. I think it was one of the "better" ones, for want of a better word.MattCameronKicksButt wrote:Not being scraped off the road but there was one recently of some kids messing about with their mobiles while one was hit by a car.
