isnt the word "indescribable" technically a description?

like, "i'm in a, um,, i dont know, indescribable mood?"
doesnt that tell the person the mood you're in, is , odd, off, not normal for you, not happy, not sad, not angry, but just odd?

    Words like indescribable are what are known as "reverse adjectives."

    Yes, as is the word 'non-descript'.

    If you ever read in a novel that a character was 'non-descript', I want you to rip out the pages one by one and feed them to the nearest bin.
