Well, it's been at least a month since I was last here. In that month I celebrated my 50th birthday, went to Istanbul (fabulous place), been very busy!!

How are you all? Still going strong I see. No news yet?

See you in a month. Look after yourselves.

Happy Happy birthday!!! I have been celebrating my 50th birthday this year too! I chose to celebrate for a year. I started off by seeing Pearl Jam in Lisbon last Sept. Istanbul sounds very interesting. It is one of the places that I would love to visit one day. Enjoy!!

Well thank you and happy 50th as well. No doubt I'll find a few other things to do. Will see PJ in London in June. I'll keep you informed.

Do let us know how you make out. send pictures if you can. We always go to Portugal (my husband is Portuguese) and we still have years of discovery left in that country (we are doing it small town by small town) and plan to retire there (1/2 time) but I would love to go to croatia and Turkey... for some reason. perhaps a bit off the beaten track (but not so much anymore). But, I will have to live vicariously thru you now. :)

be careful at those euaropean shows (GA) we got crushed the first night (unless you are on the rail). Second night we had the best seats in the house (on the first balcony).

Yes we have GA tickets and as I'm taking my wife I don't want her to be crushed. Where would be the best place to stand, obviously not right at the front. I thought 2/3 back towards the side.

Only been to Portugal once but loved it. We go to Turkey most years as we have a place there. It's a beautiful country with wonderful coastlines. The people are very friendly and a bit nuts. If you go I recommend May, June or September.

I haven't been to Croatia but it's on my wishlist. Everyone I know who has been say it's stunning.

Think I'd better get on with some work.
