I wasn't too pleased with it either, but I've been revisiting it over the past few weeks through repeats on HBO and I've decided that either:

a.) It wasn't as bad as I thought

    or

    b. ) I'm ready for new episodes, so the old ones are refreshing to watch and get me back in the mood.

I wish they would never have killed off Ralph. Joey Pants nailed that character.

    PBM

Yeah I watched some of the reruns of the episodes when Tony was in the coma and really liked them.

I know it wasn't last season but the episode when they kill Adriana is one of the best episodes of any series every put on television.

Looks like I've got less than a month to watch 4 seasons. Just finished season 1 last week and am addicted. I came late into the Sopranos game but love it!

Good call. I personally can't wait for all of the good spring time t.v. this year.
The Sopranos, Entourage, Deadliest Catch, Southpark, Bullshit and the list goes on and on..

I think it is a shame that HBO shit canned Deadwood. I miss that show already. Fucking Jerks. :)

I don't follow the behind the scenes. Was Meadow written out due to a contract issue or something else?

I have no idea. She was a way more interesting character than retarded AJ as far as Tony's kids go I thought.
Once in a while you can get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

I think David Chase just didn't utilize her last season. Since she isn't living at home or even in Jersey there wasn't much for her character to do.

theyve just started showing series6 over here on terrestrial tv, seen the first episode and liked it though Ive heard all the negative comments about the season as a whole. series 5 wasnt all that, but then the first three seasons are pretty hard to top

I find AJ and Meadow to be not the most interesting of charcters.

I've read some potential spoilers for this last season...interesting storylines if they are true.

I'm only on Season 3 and I find them to be pretty bland thus far. Does it get worse? I must say as a newcomer to the Sopranos, Seasons 1 & 2 were unreal. I could watch those over and over.

I think you have to adjust your viewpoint from here on. Once Livia died the focus of the show seemed to change. It's still good, but there is something missing.

She was utilized. She didn't move to California until the end of the season. She was in the majority of the season and I have seen her promote the upcoming episodes....so I am sure Meadow is still in it.

And I don't think it did change. She is still brought up by Dr. Melfi. Tony still has mother issues. I think where we saw a slight decline in the violence was season 4 after 9/11. But ever with that (and it is far from a violence free show), i think the writing is so phenomenal that the show still stands on its own two feet.

Yeah I know she still on the show but she didn't have a huge character arc like she did with Jackie Jr. It seemed like her bf Fin had a bigger storyline than she did. :)

Fifth season with Steve Buscemi is excellent.

That's a good point. Her strip tease moments were worth her being there. Damn, she is hot. :D

No kidding! :) They finally let her be thin instead of telling her to "fatten up".
