    Eddie has started doing more things on the side than ever. I think its just some way for him to just keep the creative juices flowing while apart from PJ. I just read that he is going to have a cameo in a fake biopic called "Walk Hard - The Dewey Cox Story" written by Jake Kasdan and Judd Apatow. According to the article in Rolling Stone, he plays himself at an awards ceremony where they are paying tribute to the fictional Dewey Cox. According to Apatow: "We wrote the really bombastic, over-the-top speech, and Eddie Vedder was hysterical reading it. He nailed it on the first take."

    Yeah, I heard about that a while back: Imagine, Ed being able to nail an over-the-top awards ceremony induction speech? Can anybody say Hall of Fame speeches? I love his speeches, though.

    Anyway, since you're also a fan, Jack White plays Elvis in that same movie (from what I understand.) He's all over the place......I, too, can't get enough of Icky Thump. He is really amazing live.....they're touring all over the place, try to catch them if it's not too late. THEY PLAY THE SOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!

    If any of you in or near Raleigh are interested, Soul Asylum is playing on August 11 at a downtown (free) festival in Raleigh. Anybody remember them? They've always been in my top five and they are AMAZING live, I swear! I've only seen them twice because they don't come around much but THEY ARE PLAYING THE SOUTH!!! I will SO be there and have a hotel room that is within walking distance. If anybody here is interested, let me know. It will be worth it, especially since it's free! I've been looking forward to this for months because they (unlike some we know) don't have a lot of money for touring but they're still PLAYING THE SOUTH. How can that be??????

    Let's get a fan club only show in Asheville, NC at the Orange Peel. And they open with Who You Are! Best case scenario...for me anyways. I need something GA my membership # is too high. I'm gonna keep focusing on this outcome until it happens! :p Stay positve folks. :)
