    I saw Todd Barry open for Sarah Silverman last weekend in Atlantic City, and I was laughing the entire time. His act was a lot funnier than hers, actually.

    Edited to add: You should hear Patton Oswalt's Werewolves and Lollipops. Parts of it had me crying the first time I heard it.

    Every one of those would have been on my list.:D

    I'll add two Irish comedians... Dylan Moran and David O'Doherty.

    And Al Murray, the Pub Landlord! He's the excellent thing!

    was one of those guys in 'father ted'? if so, does he have a cd? i've seen that guy's standup and loved it.

    .....Also Lewis Black is pretty funny in his second HBO comedy special, “Red, White and Screwed” (2006), which featured his jabbing commentary on the Iraq War, gay marriage and Vice President Dick Cheney shooting his hunting buddy in the face.

    It was shot here in DC and had me rolling. :)
