My great great grandfather was the giraffe keeper at the Melbourne Zoo and would sit up with them and nurse them during the night when they were sick with a sore throat!NOPE!!!

That'd be the Ned Kelly Series by Mr Sidney Nolan. Just brilliant!
Ned Kelly being like a sort of Aussie Robin Hood or Jesse James.
He's part of the fabric, legend and folklore, so to see him portrayed so eloquently on canvas has always been a buzz for me! Nobody could ever improve on those pics. They sum us up and represent the Kelly legend perfectly!
My current one of the pin board is a Degas.All the pretty ballerinas!

and absolutely, religious experience is the best way to put it. i can remember seeing certain artworks or architectural beauties or just a beautiful natural space and it just overwhelms you. i adore that feeling

That church pic of cutbacks has that real "Hallelujah!" moment to it too! Like sometimes when you see great things! And it's like you can hear the choir and the angels strike up!They burn into your memory those moments!
