PJ vinyls

edited December 2013 in The Porch
I'm on ebay right now and I'm going for a few singles, avacado, and riot act. Where do these people get the vinyl versions of PJ albums from?

I bought every LP (except Avocado) & non-Xmas 45 I own from my local record shop (Waterloo Records in Austin) before they were OOP.

And most of them were for $9.99!
  • the auction for riot act ends in about 45 minutes and its going for about $45US + shipping! big dilemma here. So which ones are still in print, and which ones do I have to search all over for?
  • Ten, VS and riot act and avacado should be quite easy to find, a lot of them used to be in tenclub.net goods until recently.

    Ive got
    Ten
    VS
    Vitalogy
    No Code
    Yield

    Riot Act
    Lost Dogs
    Avocado

No code and binaural are the expensive ones from ebay..

and yes i spin them! :)

  • why don't they sell them on here anymore? do you think they'll start them up again?

Really? I haven't seen it anywhere in Dublin, and if it was there I'd definitely have seen it.

I think they released it in Germany. Someone here posted a link to amazon (germany) about 1 month ago.

  • Live on 2 Legs, Binaural, Avocado and Riot Act are out of print that i know of for sure.

I have everything still sealed except for Binaural, including Benaroya, LO2L, Rearviewmirror and Lost Dogs.

  • I just bought Avocado from a music store, and the guy is calling me back next week when he gets a list of all the other records he can order. Once he calls me I get first dibs on them :D. And was I not supposed to take off the wrapper? I looked at the booklet and records then put the plastic sleeve back over it, was I not supposed to?

I'm an absolute, dyed-in-the-wool old-school vinyl fan as well as a big Pearl Jam fan but no way am I going to shell out $100, let alone two three or four hundred bucks for the PJ vinyl I don't have but would very much love to have: Riot Act, No Code and Pearl Jam. No, I'm going to post on every thread like this that I see my desire to have these albums reissued on vinyl and I'm going to wait and wait and wait until they do so because I'm a dyed-in-the-wool old-school stubborn man.

I had to sleep on that one and spend money on other things. No regrets, right? I *do* have the purple MLB and a Vault 3 vinyl plus a bunch of other goodies.

Probably my coolest one? I have no idea why, but my green Amongst The Waves holds that "underrated" spot in my mind.

jpc.de has the purple TOTD's available. It's not really rare, just don't try to get it from the same places as everyone else on these boards. My local record store has a couple of copies remaining too.
