A little luck, some faith, and a love for the band helps too. I showed up in 2000 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angles, which is really small and got a ticket from someone face value at the show. I showed up for the Eddie Vedder/Beck/Mike Ness and someone sold me a balcony seat for face value. So, if you REALLY want to go, you can usually snag a ticket outside the venue if you go at the right time before the show..i.e. 60-90 minutes before the opening act. The same was true with alot of fans who got into the KROQ show at the Fonda..ebay and brokers were asking insane amounts..but fans were cool and hooked each other up at the venue.

  • don't they are worth nothing cause radiohead is not good.

maybe, but fake plastic trees has gotten me laid, and i already know I'm going with a girl, so i'm thinking Radiohead is pretty great.

I agree with the general rule. But I am just doing the math here. Two nights in LA. Thousands and thousands of fans. 2,000 seats at the Wiltern.

I am happy I decided to go the Stubhub route.

  • Looks like prices are already going down on eBay. You can get a mezzanine ticket for Los Angeles Night 1 for less than $150 each now: http://cgi.ebay.com/2-EDDIE-VEDDER-TICKETS-WILTERN-LA-LOS-ANGELES-4-12-CA_W0QQitemZ150218829799QQihZ005QQcategoryZ16122QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
