The Mercy Rule should be in place for this game RIGHT NOW before the Cubs fans start to riot!PJ- 04/29/2003.06/24,25,27,28,30/2008.10/27,28,30,31/2009

Wow. I almost feel bad for the Cub fans. A great season really doesn't mean shit in the playoffs..
What's another 100 years anyways?
Should have grown up a White Sox fan..0 -
maybe someone should remind the OP of 2004 ... you know ... with the Yankees up on the Sox 3 games to none in the ALCS ... how did that turn out for the Yanks? HMMM??? (oh yea, and game three was a 19 - 8 Yankees win ... and the Sox still overcame that )
I'm not a Cubs fan, but man ... I can't stand people piling on when a team is losing ... only people who feel inferior do shit like that."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

Knock down Wrigley, relocate and odds are you won't have to wait a lifetime.. I'm just sayin'..
Inside, part of me roots for the Cubs.. I'd rather seem them win it than the Red Sox or Yankees..0 -
nothing like salt in a wound
I like trash talking and venom in sports, I think it's healthy for the game.
I will always cheer against the teams that are rivals to my teams, and be glad when they lose.0 -

Oh, I agree. Trash talking is good fun, at least until it gets personal.
I do like the Cubs though... but the Dodgers are my team! (Actually, I like the Angels too, believe it or not...) Therefore, they must go down.Stone Gossard...riffmeister extraordinaire!

Personal trash talk should only occur between competitors, not fans0 -
I love seeing them lose. Sure The Brewers are sucking but Cubbies have played even worse in the playoffs. I predict a loss tomorrow to make it just like the playoffs last year.Alpine Valley 2000

i actually think the Cubs fans deserve this. They acted like it is a foregone conclusion this year, even having bars around Wrigley putting in a rule that they would stop selling beer after the 7th inning during 'clinching' games - what an arrogant thought to have assuming they would be in clinching games. I wonder if that rules counts for games the other team is clinching against them. This is why sports are awesome, cause ain't nothing guaranteed or 100% - ask the Pats fans.0 -
Rich Harden is probably the best pitcher on that staff. I understand Lou wanting Dempster to pitch at home and Big Z has been the guy all year but Harden may have been the guy they wanted to pitch twice.

I enjoy the misery of fans other than those on my side as much as the next fella, but I have still never seen, nor am I likely to ever see again, anything greater than the pitiful looks on the faces of the Yankee fans when the Sox wrapped up the ALCS after trailing 0-3 in the series. Now, that was greatAll I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow
They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all0 -

26 world titles speaks for itself....no team in history will ever catch us. When your in the postseason just about every year, things like this might happen. It did hurt, thus is the playoffs.Cant win it every year0
