My Fucking Truck Was Stolen Yesterday!!!!!

So I left work yesterday and took the PATH back to New Jersey. I had parked my truck near the train station, I usually walk from my place, but my oldest son had a basketball game last night so I needed to get there quickly. I get out of the station and walk down to where I had parked my truck and it was FUCKING gone. There was shattered glass on the floor so I instantly knew it was stolen. I am fucking livid right now not only because my truck is gone but because I just dropped $1,000.00 on new brakes, pads and rotors for my truck just last weekend. I hope who ever did this contracts some type of STD that produces large red pussing boils on their fucking dick.

And as a public service announcement to all, make sure if you finance or lease a vehicle that you have Gap insurance. Thankfully I do because your insurance company will only pay what they appreciate the vehicle to be worth and that may be significantly less than what you own the car company. You would be responsible to pay the difference.

    i had my car broken into in hoboken after riding the Path a few years back. at least my car wasn't stolen like yours. I only had a backpack full of cds taken. pricks.

    My truck is probably torn apart in some fucking chop shop right now. Fucking assholes. You fucking bust your ass to scratch out a nice living and buy nice things for yourself only to have some worthless pieces of fucking shit douche bag mother fucker come and take it.

    Had my 96 chevy caprice stolen 3 times and I was able to recover all three times. Do you know any cops? They might know where the the thieves ditch them before they get chopped. (BTW I worked in a rough neighborhood)

    I know about half the police force in Newark's East Ward, that's where the car was stolen. Many times the cars are taken to Jersey City, Elizabeth or Irvington so it's harder for the Newark cops to crack down on the chop shops. The first thing I did was call my older brother's best friend, who is a Captain, and he met me and my pops at the precinct. I know they will do their best but even they admitted that if it was stolen by a pro the chances of her recovering the car are zero to none. The best I can hope for is that it was a bunch of idiots who just wanted to joy ride, then the chances of recovery are better.

    I'm really sorry about your truck.

    As to your second point, I'm not a big fan of Gap insurance. Instead, you should pay cash for your vehicle or buy an older one that won't depreciate as fast. With gap insurance, you are taking a hit on the depreciation and paying a premium to an insurance company. It's a lose/lose situation.
