once, I started to say "holy shit" and "bloddy hell" at the same time and it came out "holy hell." It stuck, although a good "bloody 'ell!" makes me laugh!

  • I love that expression!! It makes me giggle for some reason!

My Boss's husband is from the UK, he says it all the time.. Everything sounds so funny to me in the English accent.. Like when he said he should "Put a pole on prestyn and mop the floor with him" I about died. It sounded so funny with his accent.

TOTALLY!! My boss's friends were visiting from England. She kept calling Mia "Cheeky". I was laughing so hard. Fricken adorable! Oh, and they called diapers "nappies". I use that term now...LOVE IT!

  • I was biking across ireland and I had stopped at a post office to mail some post cards, and there was a guy painting the fence out front, and he strikes up some small talk and I go "well I'm going to [x town] today" and he looks at my bike and goes "on a bike? bloody hell!" hahahaha I always loved that reaction.

Okay, 'bloody' is usually not a term I look forward to hearing. It mostly means that I can't fuck that shit, which surely can't be the best of news..
'I want to hurry home to you
put on a slow, dumb show for you
    and crack you up
so you can put a blue ribbon on my brain
    god I'm very, very frightening
    and I'll overdo it'
