so what the fuck does a guy ( or gal ) have to do to find a normal hat for a BB team these days ?!?!?

they all have those godforsaken giant fucking big ass round bills on them now !

thats great if you want to keep the foil sticker on it and tags and shit, while sporting your bling ! but for fucks sake !

    lol. sadly those hats are the ones they wear in the mlb :o they just wear them stupid and never take off the sticker.

    i actully considered finding a old worn one on ebay, but the cooties factor sunk in !!!

    Get a canvas one. I think they look cooler anyway. They're also cooler in temperature on ya skull.

    go on lids.com and look for any hat that is called "franchise" or that are labeled "easy fitted" instead of fitted. these are the ones that are pretty much broken in for you.

    new era are the ones that players wear but they also make probably 100 absolutely fug-ugly hats for every team. they're the ones that you see kids wearing crooked with an ironed flat bill and five stickers on it while the hat has so many colors and logos on it you can even tell what team its for.

    I got mine at Lids. They make them for all teams.

    I think canvas is more comfortable than wool. Even in the winter.

    I've got both a nice Phils and Padres New Era fitted hats from Lids - The bill doesn't seem that big once you start to wear it in.

    i have a pirates "batting practice" cap from new era that has a perfectly sized bill that was already bent. it's pretty comfy too. i think they make those batting practice ones for every team. or many teams anyway.

    Yeah, New Era ruined baseball hats. Now it's fashionable in the hardcore and hip hop scene to own them so they cost like 50 bucks at a lot of locations too.

    because of my large cranium, i had to buy a fitted wool cap straight from new era....buy you can't really wear WOOL IN THE SUMMERTIME!!!!

    those franchise caps look sweet and COTTON!! :)

    Exactly! The colors and prints in the New Era hats are rediculous. I really wonder who buys these things. But I'm sure they wouldn't be making them if they didn't sell them.

    I have about 18 caps

    the only one I don't really like is the official fitted cap the rest are normal hats
    I just don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die.

    I usually find New Era caps that fit pretty well. I always buy them sized so that there is no mystery as to whether or not they will fit when I order them off the website. They have some cool minor league caps on their website.

    I agree that there are way too many variations these days that only a teenager could appreciate!

    you guys should check out new eras website. they have fitted hats for some baseball teams that are "low crown" and fit closer to the head. they're hard to find but i feel there's a noticable difference.
