  • Hey i just checked out the trade me things for PJ,

Ive got a few items which are signed by the band, although i would never ever dream of selling them, i would be very curious to see what sort of money they could pull in...

    I have the 10c 99, 00, 01, 02 Vinals (bad spelling) signed by Eddie,

and also have the Latest record signed by Ed, Mike, Stone & jeff...
Although that one has my name on it, so i doubt anyone would want it...
I also have Mike's pick from the the last Aussie tour too.,..

Just on a curiousity basis... what sort of money do you think they could pull... keeping in mind that these items are in Mint condition and framed...

    ***NOT FOR SALE***

That poster is sweet, but at 30 bucks its going past my no job money limit. Its not me bidding on that poster as I have the exact same one staring at me from behind the computer, but good luck to you guys bidding on it!

Joey, I wouldnt have a clue what theyd fetch in an auction but im sure there'd be huge money being tossed at it. Me personally, unless I got the signature ive never seen the attraction of buying someone elses thing they got signed. Unless you got em to sign it to Dean. (why didnt you get it signed Dean and not Joe....) And in other news, I just bought a ukelele so if you need a uke for that band of yours when youre back...

Speaking of auctions and while im bored, anyone see the auction for dinner with Stone and his wife? I think it was at 25,000 US dollars last I saw.

All the other ones? Theres not more than one womans top is there? All the rest of em are for 110kg guys if all the shirts ive bought are anything to go by. My 10C shirt fits not bad but its a bit big (im 85kgs but like it not loose) another is ridiculously big and another is a bit big too.
Haha you did know thats a girls shirt right? Its a wicked girls shirt however.

Haha yes, I did realise it's a woman's top, I'm getting it for my womanthing. And well I am a 110 kg kinda guy, so the other shirts might've fit me. Anyway, it is now time to save up for the show!
A small girl smiles...one eyelid flickers, she whips a pistol from her knickers. She aims it at the preacher's head. And run (run, bang) she shoots him dead.

Theres heaps of those DVD's floatin around, a mate and me both bought a copy. As for the Pinkpop, I think its too expensive at 40 bux. MSG 03 wasnt that much and it'd be better quality, longer set plus bonus features.
Anyone hear The Rock were giving away Life Wasted singles on the road today? So I figure this is going to come out in cd single form pretty soon in stores, and I would guess itd have the video on it too. Just my luck I was out for a run when they announced it, then said they'd only be there for the next 15 mins.

Don't buy them! There are people around that will trade for them. I would if I had them, but they are pretty easy to get hold of. And if you charge $40 for them you are just trying to rip fans off. Just like the guy selling Molo Sessions for $40! It's $11 from the website!

Sorry for the mini-rant. It's one of my pet peeves...

I actually tried to do a B&P trade with someone, then he said oh youre in NZ nah cant do that. Noone seemed to be that keen...guess it deserves me right for buying a shitty Benaroya off Ebay. Its my pet peeve too but not being in USA its tough.
And yep Brendan they were giving away Life Wasted singles. Ill keep my ear out today.

  • Hey people i've been practising for my first show (I've been playing guitar for a year and a half). At my work party. I'm playing before my workmate's son's band. Even gonna have a truck set up. I'll be kinda nervous. But once I get a couple of beers down me I'll be sweet as. I'm confident that I won't screw up to bad :)

    Here's my set list:

Father and Son - Cat Stevens
    Thin Air - Pearl Jam
    I Need a Friend - (my song)
    Big Me - Foo Fighters
Off He Goes - Pearl Jam
Sorry (my song)/Another Brick in the Wall tag
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd

Good stuff man... good luck, im sure youll be fine...
I remember my first concert... i was shitting bricks...
i did like 4 covers and one original...
I actually covered thin air too... but my original that i did, everyone liked and rocked out to it hard.. i was in a band so that made things a little easier.. but still... after you stroke that first chord / string you dont even worry about the crowd...

Ill have a drink for you tonight...

    Over and out!!

That sounds awesome Brendan, hope all goes brilliantly. I tell you, you should get a bass player like the one playing at the pub tonite, she was a stunner. But she introduced Betterman as a love song....yuck.
Any chance you can get those songs on file? Id love to hear your songs, plus your take on Big Me. And then when you guys want to sign me up on Uke, im ready.
Joe , im looking forward to jamming with ya in Howick

Man, do BNZ suck or what? I had to wait 6 weeks for my bloody credit card. I finally gave in and asked a workmate to put my 10C membership through, and I got home only to see it had just arrived. Shit like this pisses me off.
