***Official New Zealand Fans Thread***

Ok I want to hear from all the New Zeland fans at the pit. Don't bother posting here if your an Aussie cause this is where the Kiwi Jam fans are gonna communicate with each other. We're a small enough country to build a network of Pearl Jam friends. So come on Kiwi Jammers let's communicate to each other. NewZealandJamFan I know you might be interested.

Rumours/Facts:

-Vector Area is Scheduled for completion late August
-We all know Pearl Jam prefers to play indoor venues hence the need for Vector
-Split Enz are tipped to play the first gig with Pearl Jam in November
-Joey who's in Toronto and met the band said they intend to get down here.

    Where you at man? I'm In crappy old Feilding. No body here listens to Pearl Jam and many people have never even heard of them. I sucks arse not knowing any other pearl jam fans in person. Plus I'm only 19 which doesn't help at all.

    Maybe, is he in Auckland too? I did a trade with one guy, it might be him.

    Good luck to you! My friend's been travellign for a few years now (I guess 5+) and he's been lucky enough to see them in Sweden and soon in Edmonton! I haven't seen them since 98!

    They'll be back soon... Are you in the tenclub? IF you join, you'll probably get really good seats. There's only about 70 current fans in NZ. Unfortunately, we couldn't get tickets to the Oz gigs in 2003 or I would've been there like a shot...

    yeah i cant wait, the last time i saw them was in wellington in 98, we had to drive all day from dunedin to make it as i went to shihad the night before

    Yeah he is in Auckland. East Auckland I think. Howick. I don't know Auckland too well.

    I saw Shihad in Welly couple of weeks ago the rocked the fucking Kasbah. I broke my glasses in the mosh pit. Ha ha. Managed to fix them which is all good. Did they have a mosh pit for the 98 Pearl Jam show? I know they don't anymore. They aren't really a moshing band.

    yeah they did, i was right up front, infront of mike mccready, there was this little kid beside must of been about 10, he was going nuts it was funny to watch

    I'm not in the Ten Club but I'm seroisly considering it. Just incase they tour. I've got to get a credit card so I can purchase a membership online. I did a currency calculation the other day and it's only about NZ$36. Plus I wanna buy some PJ merchandise. Can't find any here. It's all just Metallica or Korn or some shit like that. Well I gotta go now. Let me know how to go about joining the Ten Club.

    About Tenclub, just get a CC and buy online. I buy a lot of stuff from the website and it usually gets here sweet, and if not they've been pretty helpful in sorting it out...

    Almost certainly, but it's at the Supertop in Auckland, hardly an ideal venue. We saw them at Galatos (only ~400 people) last time...

    Hey all you kiwi jammers. I love Pearl Jam and currently live in Wellington

    I will be going to Foo Fighters in Nov- wish it was Eddie and the Boys but Foo's will do for now- looking forward to the concert

    PJ have been my fav band since about 1999- I was looking through my flat mates CD collection and came along Ten, played it and since then have followed this band through and through- though never seen them live, one day soon I hope.

    I'd like to see the Foos. I'm not a huge fan but would bet cool anyway. Depends on how much the tix are and if I can get a ride to welly.

    I think New Zealand has missed out way too much. All these Aussies , Europeans and even American's are moaning about not having a tour. Hello poor old New Zealand hasn't had a tour since 98. So out of all the possible places (exept maybe South America) they can tour we are the most over due.

    Yep ill be there....is it confirmed for the Supertop? It'd be much better if they played Western Springs or North Shore...Supertop blows.

    By the way I am the East Auckland man that is spoke of...havent done any trading with anyone but if anyones keen I have much to offer and lots im sure you can offer me..lets work together Kiwis!

    I live in Seattle, but I'm a New Zealand fan! I've only been once, though, and it was over 10 years ago!! Need to save some dough for another trip.
    I stayed 2 weeks in Wellington and loved every minute of it.

    You can be an honaray (Is that spelt right?) New Zealand Jam Fan. Wellington is pretty cool. Since you live in Seattle the home of Pearl Jam you're also welcome.
