* edit* nothing scientific please! do not bore me with science.....i want jokes
nope. love is what remains when all that you just described is gone. you are in lust.Seems that needlessly it's getting harder

Love is when you can handle the bad stuff together.
Any perosn in a bar on any given Saturday night can have what you just described.
yeh, i was gonna say that sounded more like ecstasy to me... who wants a roll?0 -
when you would do anything to have them next to you and just be able to be with them. when you can't get them out of your head they're the first thing you think of when you're awake til you go to sleep and you physically ache for them to touch you and to be able to touch them. all i have to do is look him in the eye and it's like i melt, the bastard he heMonty Got a Raw Deal

I would tend to disagree. That sounds more lust, like others have pointed out.
I think love is when you can be allowed to forget them momentarily while you continue with your life, work, etc. But somehow always seem to come back to them.Turn this anger into

true but people have always said that love changes over time and what starts off as what i described ends up being what you just said.and he's not always in my head, i can get on with my life, he's still in my head way too much though.Monty Got a Raw Deal

i guess its no big deal if i ever get married i just want kids. i probably never will though. ill just consider the kids i watch at my daycare job my own. some of them called me mommy. were with them for 8 hours they hardly see their parents. if i had kids i would of been a stay home mom if i could afford it. i would never want to go on welfare cause i really dont believe in it. i do feel bad for pll who are homeless and such but, anyway i hope i wont be lonely for the rest of my life. i try not to think about it. its nice to be single to but, when you get to be 40 you start thimking0

Thats a good point. but I might argure that at that point, it isnt love. Its the possibility that is so intriguing.Turn this anger into

love is seeing the person for who they are...imperfections and all...and realizing u wouldn't change a damn thing...love is feeling safe and warm...and *getting the other person* - connecting in a way that's almost hard to describe...love is wanting the best for the other person...even if it's not best for you....love is flying across the world cause u feel all that and moreThere's a light when my baby's in my arms0

Ahnimus wrote:If you love someone, you have chemical bond in your brain. When you are around them the bond is satisfied. When you are away from them the thoughts enter your mind to satisfy the desire to be with them and satisfy the chemical bond.
All of the symptoms that people experience with withdrawal from love are similar in characteristics to withdrawal from recreational drugs like cocaine.
Love is a really potent drug that can become immediately addictive. Never-the-less it is a drug and that explains the withdrawal symptoms.
So, basically, what I mean to say is, if you have the withdrawal symptoms you are in love. But that doesn't mean it's the mystical, last-forever, fantasy love. That doesn't exist.

 folks, i am still determined to make this thread funny, so
i'm going to add a story called "That's love"
An escaped convict, imprisoned for 1st degree murder, had spent 25 years of his life sentence in prison. While on the run, he broke into a house and tied up a young couple who had been sleeping in the bedroom. He tied the man to a chair on one side of the room and his wife on the bed.
He got on the bed right over the woman, and it appeared he was kissing her neck. Suddenly he got up and left the room. As soon as possible the husband made his way across the room to his bride, his chair in tow, and whispered, "Honey, this guy hasn't seen a woman in years. I saw him kissing on your neck and then he left in a hurry. Just cooperate and do anything he wants. If he wants to have sex with you, just go along with it and pretend you like it. Whatever you do don't fight him or make him mad. Our lives depend on it!. Be strong and I love you."
After spitting out the gag in her mouth, the half naked wife says: "Dear, I'm so relieved you feel that way. You're right, he hasn't seen a woman in years, but he wasn't kissing my neck....He was whispering in my ear. He said he thinks you're really cute and asked if we kept the Vaseline in the bathroom. Be strong and I love you, too."0 -
