i tried bikrams in 2000 for the first time here in vancouver, i think it was the first one in canada i was going to. loved it back then...fell out of it, went sporatically. but now i go all the time, i spent 600$ on 100 classes i have 85 or so left....you feel amazing after it. it takes a lot of energy to perform the class, but somehow, you are so energized for hours after the class.
my only problem with bikrams is that it does take a long time to do. at least a two hour chunk of day for exercising and we all dont have that. but if you force yourself to go, the benefits are reallly great.
i love the philosophical side bikram teachers bring too.
my friend trained with bikram in 2002 and now owns his own studio.Van '98, Sea I+II '00, Sea '01, Sea II '02, Van '03, Gorge, Van, Cal, Edm '05, Bos I+II, Phi I+II, DC, SF II+III, Port, Gorge I+II '06, DC, NY I+II '08, Sea I+II, Van, Ridge , LA III+IV' 09, Indy '10, Cal, Van '11, Lond, Van, Sea '13, Memphis '14, RRHOF '17, Sea I+II '18, Van I+II, Vegas I+II, Sea I+II '240 -
