I know a lot of us have been replying to the sticky announcing the fact that PJ is indeed playing Bonnaroo in June...
BUT!!
Let's get the party started by getting an official post going about who's going/from where/what other bands they're lookin' forward to seeing/possible meet ups/info for new roo'ers/speculation on sets/...etc.
So, to start, I'm coming from CT along with my two brothers- one who lives in London and the other who goes to school in Montreal presently. All of us are huge PJ fans. Think we'll get any new songs?

I am. Going with 2 (maybe 4) buddies. We are psyched to see Metallica, PJ (me especially, I might ditch them to sit the rail the whole day) and Jack Johnson. We are all psyched for the comedian line up too. I'm also psyched for BB King, Willie Nelson and the Allman Bros.
We are driving from Western NY (19 hour road trip).
The comic book shop owner that I go to every month to purchase my monhly comics is taking 3-4 caravans down with 20 friends too! We are all stoked.
I hope to see The Black Keys, Ween and Okkervil River added. AND ANDREW BIRD.0 -
im going with like 4 other people. we're most likely renting an rv and driving there from jersey.5/28/06, 6/27/08, 10/28/09, 5/18/10, 5/21/10

Yea, were driving from CT so it'll definitely be a hell of a trip, but definitely worth it. Were psyched about PJ obviously- but Sigur Ros is a big one, Jack Johnson will be great, Death Cab, Umphree's, Against Me!, Willie, Robert Plant, the list would get too long heh...the comedy will be fun too. I f'in love J. Garofolo and David Cross.
Overall, I can't wait for the whole vibe. Getting to know people and all that..."P-E-A-R-L J-A-M is priceless to me."0 -
PS- Ween would be fantastic, if added...and Okkervil River."P-E-A-R-L J-A-M is priceless to me."0

Driving from CT also. Leaving Wed. am and staying in a hotel that night only. I think in Murfreesboro. I need the sleep. Not bad a Super 8 for like $60.
Jack Johnson is a biggie, Jack White and Warren Haynes always. Want Les Claypool to be added.Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!0 -

Sorry, going VIP but need sleep the night before the festival and after a 15 hour ride! Sounded like I was staying in a hotel the whole time.
Chose VIP for showers, and people told me they spent a lot on food last year. Enough for VIP to be worth it. If you camp far away its hard to go all the way back just to eat, and they only let you bring in snacks to Centeroo. They flew in and didn't have a grill or anything with them. Very excited for this, so if EV doesn't come to the Northeast...no worries. I think he will play solo at Roo.Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!0 -

Good idea for a thread. Some folks have already been talking about this on the Message Pit. Thought you might like to see that discussion, too
