    as to getting such tix, it's all WHO you know, not necessarily what line of work or industry. if you are a BIG firm or company say within NYC, you usually CAN get such 'perks'...if you know the proper channels/people within your office. i am sure someone in my firm could snag such kinds of tix easily, but fuck if i know this person. :p

    I dunno, I work for a really big firm with offices all over the planet, but I can't imagine anyone here having access to that sort of thing.

    obviously, i don't mean EVERY single big firm that exists, there are always parameters....but i think it is especially common here in NYC. i KNOW many of the bigger execs get some MAJOR tix, perks, etc.....and thus share with staff, etc. you have to KNOW who gets em, has access, etc.



    hell, when pj was playing the beacon - and we all thought at first tix would be like 1K each - someone posted a list of robin hood foundation board. checked it over, saw the CEO of one of our major clients, one who one of our managers recently jumped on over to...and i seriously considered e-mailing him to see what he could do. :p i know many, many people in very 'unsexy' work who have a plethora of 'connections' for such things. it IS all who you know as i said earlier.

    i just need to get tight with one of the partners and open some doors there. hahaha. :)
