I have never started one of these but I noticed dan.reis is having a birthday today. Anyone remember him? His threads about getting help to go to shows were so entertaining. I did not get the chance to meet him but heard nothing but good about him. Anyhoo, happy birthday dan.reis I hope to see you at a show soon!

    I remember him, met him briefly in New York. The posts were extremely funny, some were also cruel. Good guy. I believe he's looked after folk from here who travelled to his country for shows.

    I contributed and I don't feel suckered at all

    it's a shame some of you seem to go through life with such negativity

    it's unhealthy and quite boring

    I feel damn good that I helped Dan come from South America to see PJ for the first time

    yes. he didn't "sucker" anyone. People gave willingly,freely and happily.
    Ran into him at the Boston show and you couldn't have met a more grateful

    I contributed also. Glad I did, he was the most genuine and grateful person. He always sends a Christmas email, or a hello. We've never met, but I think it was such a great thing that we all did for him!
